DEAR FELLOW FOOD LOVER,

Real Italian Food Is Two Things: It’s Hand-Crafted And It’s Local.
My husband, Raffaele, taught me that. It began with tales of his Italian upbringing in Rome. Over the years, he showed me how to make fresh pasta and more, slowly revealing this intimate connection that comes from creating hand-crafted artisanal foods. After a while, it became clear to me that we needed to share this living tradition with others, and I knew we would call it “Mano Bella” – Beautiful Hand.
Hand-in-hand with local farmers and artisans, we hope that you find connection with your food and or, at the very least, with those you share it with.
~ Madison Patrizi, Co-owner of Mano Bella Artisan Foods

OUR STORY

Mano Bella’s Story Begins At Home
in the kitchen of husband and wife, Raffaele and Madison Patrizi, at the end of 2020. They were selling fresh pasta and biscotti to their loved ones for the holiday season. Their initial success led them to secure a space in a commissary kitchen and they soon began selling at local farmers markets. They were a hit! Over the course of three years, Mano Bella has expanded to two locations in Charlotte and began supplying restaurants and shops across the Southeast with their wholesale products. To this day, you’ll still find Raffaele and Madison selling their artisanal foods at the farmers markets every Saturday.
OUR PURPOSE

Authentic, Artisanal, Italian
Mano Bella was created with a greater vision in mind: to celebrate the authentic tradition of artisanal Italian foods. Honing the technique and the craft of making food from-scratch, we pride ourselves on creating Italian food that relates to the present. Using seasonal ingredients from local farmers, we craft an experience like the one you had in Italy last summer, not in that crowded tourist trap centered on the main piazza, but that in the unassuming restaurant off the beaten path that was so full of life and hospitality.

OUR FOOD

On Sourcing Seasonal, Local Ingredients
At Mano Bella, we aim to transport you to Italy; where they cook seasonally and have no need to source their ingredients from anywhere other than their own backyard. With that said, we pride ourselves in collaborating with local farmers who share this commitment to quality and sustainability. By sourcing our ingredients locally, we not only ensure the freshest and most flavorful produce of the season, but we also support the hardworking individuals who make up our community.
Below are a handful of the farmers we are proud to partner with:
~ Garden Window Farm
~ Tidewater Grain Company
~ Peculiar Pig Farm

Absolutely lovely little spot with great service. It’s actually part restaurant, part Italian grocery. We ordered for a sit-down meal and the food was delicious!

The food was beautifully plated only surpassed by the authentic taste experience. I orders the tortellini with cream sauce and it was delightful. We had the trout for an appetizer, so good!!!
